On the journey to find ourselves, we must lose ourselves in relationships with God and other people. This we do by living our values. The characteristics of authentic love are “living our values every day.”

The question is: What are values? What do values mean? What is the point? What does it mean if we don’t discover and live by our values? What is the connection between our relationships, love, and our values?

What are the relationships we are all in, all the time?

God is the originator of all relationships; He is inviting you into a relationship of intimacy with Him! An intimate relationship is one that is open, transparent, and honest.

Relationship with ourselves is very often overlooked—even by the ones who know us best: ourselves!

We must be willing to be intimate with ourselves if we are going to get real, go deep, and dig up the truth. So let’s get to the truth.

Relationships with others (family, friends, coworkers, community, church, etc.) are based on many experiences from childhood to the present.

How we live our values determines the strength of our relationships. The question is: What values are important to you?
